Text Dedupe

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using Text Dedupe ("the tool"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.

The service

The tool is provided free of charge as a browser-based utility for removing duplicate lines from text and performing related text-cleaning operations. All processing happens locally in your browser; we do not receive, store, or have access to the text you process.

No warranty

The tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. While we test the deduplication logic carefully, you are responsible for verifying that the output meets your needs before relying on it for anything important, such as production data migrations or legally significant records.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool, including data loss resulting from browser crashes, lost local storage, or unexpected input.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the tool for unlawful purposes, to attempt to disrupt the website's availability, or to reverse engineer the service in a way that violates applicable law.

Changes to the service or terms

We may update the tool's features or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
