Text Dedupe started as a simple idea: removing duplicate lines from a list shouldn't require an account, a file upload, or a fight through ads. It's a small, focused tool built to do one job well, and to stay out of your way while it does it.
Why We Built This
Most "free" tools online ask for something in return: an email address, a file upload to a server you don't control, or a page full of ads around the one button you actually need. For a task as simple as cleaning up a list of lines, that always felt like too much. Text Dedupe exists because removing duplicates, sorting a list, or comparing two blocks of text should take seconds, not a sign-up form.
Every Tool in One Place
Text Dedupe started with one tool for removing duplicate lines. It's grown into a small suite for cleaning up messy text, and every tool below runs the same way the first one did: entirely in your browser, free, with no account and no upload.

- Remove Empty Lines - strip every zero-character line.
- Remove Blank Lines - strip empty and whitespace-only lines.
- Remove Extra Spaces - trim and collapse repeated spaces and tabs.
- CSV Cleaner - trim cells, drop empty rows, and remove duplicate rows.
- Remove Duplicate Words - remove or just find repeated words within a line, with adjustable scope and keep-mode.
- Text Cleaner - combine several of the cleanups above into a single pass.
- Count Lines - total, blank, and non-blank line counts.
- Count Words - word, character, and sentence counts.
- Sort Text Lines - sort lines alphabetically or naturally, or sort the words within each line.
- Reverse Text - reverse line order, or reverse the characters within each line.
- Case Converter - switch between UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence, camelCase, snake_case, and kebab-case.
- Find and Replace - literal text or regex search and replace.
